The Wedding International Professionals Association (WIPA) and Allseated are pleased to announce a partnership to develop planning resources in preparation for reopening the events industry in a post-pandemic landscape.
Allseated is working closely with WIPA to provide detailed 3D floor plans demonstrating proper social distancing for association meetings and other events. This will be paired with best practices for prioritizing health and safety developed by International Board members, led by Chapter Development Director Beth Bernstein.
“As we approach recovery and participate in the rebirth of the special events industry, it’s important that we don’t let our collective guard down yet,” says Sandy Hammer, co-founder, and CMO of Allseated. “We are thrilled to see events pick up again! But, in 2021 and beyond, event professionals must continue to implement measures to ensure the health and safety of their attendees. Naturally, socially-distanced floorplans will be a must, and we embraced our unique position in the industry to develop virtual resources that help event pros get back to business in a safe manner.”
The layouts capture different scenarios and floorplans to ensure WIPA leadership has the tools to continue to open association meetings safely. Each design was built with Allseated’s proprietary 3D visualization platform, so users can get a full in-person experience walking through the space from their own device. This feature is instrumental in demonstrating proper social distancing, as it immerses them in a safe layout that adheres to CDC guidelines.
